Campaign Dresser Makeover
Jina of @j.leerefinishings looked past the grimy exterior and saw how beautiful this campaign dresser could be with a lot of TLC.
She started with a good cleaning, sanding and wood-filling followed by 2-3 coats of Secret Garden – a rich, leafy green and the perfect compliment to the gold hardware!
After sanding the drawers down to the original raw wood and exposing the beautiful grain, Jina mixed Road Trip – a sandy, khaki brown – with water and lightly washed the drawers. They are light and bright and the wood grain still shows through!
A Beautiful “Make Under”
This stunning antique pine desk got a beautiful “make under” from Meredith of Pumpkin Seed Designs!
After cleaning up this sweet little gal, Meredith sanded it down to the original pine inside and out. Next, she went with a simple finish of watered-down Driftwood wiped back to reveal the stunning original grain.
This piece is ready to be put to work for another 100 years!
