Colors of the Month | September 2022 | Shades of Brown
Road Trip
Road Trip is a light, yellow-brown, tan color. It is darker than Cheesecake, but lighter than Driftwood. A happy medium beige with a sandy, khaki feel. This timeless color was inspired by the feeling of driving down a dirt road watching the sunrise.
Driftwood
Driftwood was inspired by the driftwood that washes ashore on our local west coast beaches. It’s a muted warm brown that looks great on its own, or blended with similarly toned warm neutrals like Soiree. Use it for dry brushing to instantly add age and texture to any project.
Leather Bound
Leather Bound is a deep, rugged brown, reminiscent of a leather bound journal or dark roasted chestnuts. As the ultimate chocolate brown, Leather Bound would look great with crisp white accents using Simplicity. This classic, versatile color is perfect for layering to create an aged, distressed finish.
