End Your Creative Slump With a Bright, Fresh Paint Color!
Abbey from Painted Home Goods chose a bold, emerald green paint color called “Fireworks” to revive this side table with a fresh, springy new look!
Sometimes the best thing to get yourself out of a creative slump is a bright color!
This darling little table came to me from my sister-in-law’s boyfriend’s grandmother. The finish was worn, but it is so cute and little tables can serve a variety of functions. To combat all the cloudiness and rain, I chose Country Chic Paint’s March Color of the Month, Fireworks.
After two coats of paint, I lightly distressed and sealed with Hemp Oil to give a gentle sheen and all-natural protection.
I sanded and stained the top and just love the wood and green combo! It’s such a great blend of modern color and vintage charm that will blend with so many decor styles.
No surprise this cutie found a home very quickly. What piece would you paint with this color?

Abbey {Painted Home Goods}
As a mom to twin boys, I am always busy. Twice the fun, twice the work! My Twin Tornadoes and salvaging neglected furniture are my passions. If a twin mom in a small apartment can fix up and paint furniture, so can you! In today’s throw-away culture and tendency towards cheaply made, mass produced home goods, I seek to provide something different, something unique. Bringing new life to discarded finds is my way of contributing to the responsible thrifting counterculture. When shopping with PaintedHomeGoods you can feel good about what you buy. Enjoy!
