Light Grey, Antique Style Desk Makeover
This sweet little desk is on its 2nd makeover by Abbey from Painted Home Goods. We think she nailed it with this new, light, neutral finish!
I had actually painted this table before in a dark green that I loved but unfortunately didn’t sell…and that’s okay!
To reach a wider range of buyers I decided to go with a neutral look using Country Chic Paint in the color, Lazy Linen.
I only needed two coats for excellent coverage over the dark green which just goes to show just how great Country Chic Paint is! I finished with Limestone glaze and Cedar Antiquing Dust to make the details (my favorite part) stand out.
It seems a neutral look was just what this table needed since it found a new home right away!

Abbey {Painted Home Goods}
As a mom to twin boys, I am always busy. Twice the fun, twice the work! My Twin Tornadoes and salvaging neglected furniture are my passions. If a twin mom in a small apartment can fix up and paint furniture, so can you! In today’s throw-away culture and tendency towards cheaply made, mass produced home goods, I seek to provide something different, something unique. Bringing new life to discarded finds is my way of contributing to the responsible thrifting counterculture. When shopping with PaintedHomeGoods you can feel good about what you buy. Enjoy!
